Wisconsin: NRA’s $1 million election spending down the tubes.

Tipping point for the NRA

During the 2018 election campaign, the NRA spent more than $1 million in Wisconsin to get conservative Republicans elected. Most was for TV ads and mailings. Gov. Scott Walker (rated A+ by the NRA) received the most money and he lost the election to Democrat Tony Evers. Too bad for the NRA to have to waste so much money. Wayne LaPierre could have used it to raise his own sky high salaries instead.

From the Wisconsin State Journal:

A review by the nonprofit Wisconsin Democracy Campaign shows the pro-gun group [NRA] poured $940,000 on behalf of Walker’s campaign, bringing the organization’s total spending on Walker since 1998 to $4.4 million.
