Wisconsin: Day of Action planned for Oct 24

Gun control advocates should be interested in a Day of Action planned by the Wisconsin Anti Violence Effort. Sometimes called a Lobby Day or an Advocacy Day, these organized days give concerned citizens a way to visit their legislators as a group. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes will be joining in the Day of Action.

I recently attended an Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts State House. We had 175 excited people attend and visit all members of a committee that will soon be voting on many gun related bills. I wrote a report of the experience.
