- HB 1927, passed into law. It eliminates the need for a license to carry license. As usual, gun zealots fancy this because getting a license is a bit of a nuisance 👎dislike
- HB 2622, passed into law. It prevents any law enforcement officials from enforcing Federal gun regulations. 👎dislike
- HB 2675, passed into law. It allows for the quick processing of licenses, even for dangerous people. This includes those under restraining orders and emergency restrictions. 👎dislike
- SB 19, passed into law. Bans any type of business, like a bank, from exercising their freedom to not do business with gun companies. 👎dislike
- SB 20, passed into law. Requires that hotels allow customers to carry loaded guns and keep them in their room. 👎dislike
- SB 550, passed into law. Eliminates the need to keep a loaded gun in a holster when walking around. 👎dislike
A disappointing year in Texas. Republicans destroyed gun safety by passing five NRA bills that will sell more guns for gun companies, but cause injuries and death among citizens of Texas. More gun owners accumulating more guns equals death and injury to come.

The Texas legislature adjourned for the year with the NRA calling it a: “Groundbreaking Session for Gun Owners.” Whenever the NRA gloats, gun safety is soon to take a hit. Both of these NRA bills passed the Republican control legislature and move on to Governor Patrick for a final signature. The Republican’s continue their agenda of helping gun companies make money at the expense of public safety.
