Texas: Committee hearing tomorrow (4/17) on bill to remove guns from domestic violence offenders

No More Funerals

The NRA is calling out their forces of gun nuts to oppose a domestic violence prevention bill. As usual, protecting their play toys – guns – is more important than saving lives. Ignoring common sense, which is to remove guns from convicted domestic abusers, is par for the NRA course.

They asked members to either oppose the bill in person at the hearing tomorrow or contact the House Committee on Homeland Security and Public Safety to oppose the bill.

The Bill

👍 House Bill 1713 require persons convicted of family violence or subject to restraining orders to turn in their guns to authorities.
