Tennessee: Eliminating Gun license hearings soon

Many dangerous people may soon be able to carry hidden loaded guns as they drive and walk around, no license required. An NRA effort to eliminate any requirements for a concealed weapons license is before two committees. On Tuesday, March 10, the House Constitutional Protections and Sentencing Subcommittee will hear HB 2817. On March 17, the Senate Finance, Ways and Means Committee will hear SB 2671.

NRA strategy

The NRA alerted their members to contact the committees and to contact their legislators.
