A bill to eliminate local communities from making any sort of gun restrictions passed the House, Senate and was signed into law by the Governor on March 3. Preemption will infringe on any local community’s freedom to make their own gun ordinances against having loaded guns in schools or parks. In some states, city councilors fear approving gun restrictions out of exposer to personal lawsuits.
