Assuring proper background checks is before House committee

  • HB 2543 is in committee. It requires a background check be completed before certifying a gun sale. Currently, if the check is not completed in one business day, the buyer can buy the gun anyway. The results, a delay in processing a request can result in a sale to a convicted killer. 👍 like
