Legislature passed a Constitutional Amendment for gun rights

On Wednesday March 13, the Iowa legislature passed House Joint Resolution 13. If it passes during two consecutive years, it would be placed on the ballot for final approval to become an Iowa Constitutional Amendment. The amendment would guarantee guns as an individual right. If this happens, all gun safety regulations would be at risk in Iowa.

The Bill

House Joint Resolution 13 proposes a constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to bear arms.
