Three gun related bills moved out of committees this year and all three passed the legislature. Governor Ige signed each into law. They all will help Hawaii continue to be the safest state in the Country.
Gun safety bills signed into law by Governor
👍 Senate Bill 600 will raise the minimum age to 21 to be able to bring a gun into Hawaii.
👍 Senate Bill 1466 will create a Gun Violence Protective Order. It would allow guns to be removed from a person deem to be dangerous.
👍 House Bill 720 will require the reporting of lost or stolen guns within 24 hours to help track these guns.
