Connecticut Info: Three gun safety bills signed into law

Connecticut gun safety proponents can celebrate three victories against the power of the NRA. Requiring guns be locked up when children are present is a big one. Now, if your children visit a friend, the chances of them finding a loaded gun in the house go down substantially.

The Bills

👍 House Bill 7218 will require lockup all guns whenever there is a minor present.
👍 House Bill 7219 will outlaw homemade guns, selling or giving away guns with no serial number, and requiring some detectable metal be added to plastic guns.
👍 House Bill 7223 will require handguns left in a car be in a locked safe.
