Congratulations Colorado. The extreme risk protection order bill passed the Colorado House and the Senate. Then on Friday, the Governor signed it into law. This will be interesting because some gun nuts fume so strongly against this gun safety bill that two counties declared themselves “gun sanctuaries.”
👍House Bill 1177 will create Extreme Risk Protection orders. They will allow families and certain other individuals to request that guns be removed from a dangerous person and not returned for a year.
