One of the NRA’s favorite laws that increases murders and accidental shootings, is the Stand Your Ground law. Their motivation behind pushing for these laws is simply for the legal protection of gun owners when they shoot someone.
The Arkansas Judiciary Committee failed so far to pass this bill. The NRA asked their members to contact their State Senator and urge them to ask the Judiciary Committee to bring this bill to the floor for a vote. Concerned citizens should help oppose the NRA members, who will advocate for this bill, and make a quick call to their Arkansas State Senator’s office.
The Bill
👎SB 484 would allow anyone anywhere to shoot anyone they deem to be a threat and not be accused of a crime.
