Both of these bills passed these bills and they are now before the Senate Judiciary Committee for a hearing on March 18. The NRA asked their members to contact the committee members.   • HB 2827 is in committee. It eliminates the freedom of banks to decide that they don’t want to do business with a gun company. Usually, Republicans voice the importance of freedom in America. Apparently not for banks, because the banks are needed to finance the further manufacture and sale of guns.
  • HB 2840 is in committee. It allows loaded guns to be left in a car when on school grounds. One risk that comes to mind, asking a neighbor to pick up your child not realizing the children may find loaded guns in the car.
