Vermont: Waiting period bill before the full House

The waiting period bill cleared the House Judiciary Committee on Monday afternoon. The next step is the full House where full debate could take place soon.

Those interested in gun violence prevention must take the time right now to push this bill over the hump. This is a critical time because the yearly session ends soon. Legislators will surely hear from NRA people. They need to hear from us too.

The Bill

👍 Senate Bill 169 would require a waiting period or a “cooling-off” period of 24 hours before receiving a gun.
