Texas: Two NRA bills move to full House

Two gun nut NRA backed bills passed out of their committees and are ready to be scheduled for a full House vote. HB 302 would force an apartment building or a condo association to allow guns in their units and on the grounds. Gun nuts always say they want to have a free country. What they want is freedom to cuddle their weapon of choice whenever they want. Their insecure demands exclude wishes of others who would like to live free of gun fear.

The second bill, HB 1177, would give in to some gun nuts who would feel safer with their gun at the ready when told to leave their home because of a disaster. This macho attitude envisions they are the only ones with a gun. However, the rule applies to everyone. Surely, with potentially desperate people around, gun fights over basic food or water might happen. Adding lots of guns to the mix would only accelerate the risks for everyone.
