South Dakota: Authoritarian preemption law passes House and is on to the Senate

On Friday, Feb 8, the House passed a preemption bill. Preemption would infringe on any local community’s freedom to make their own gun ordinances against loaded guns in schools or parks. In some states, city councilors fear approving gun restrictions out of exposer to personal lawsuits.

The NRA alerted members to make calls to support this bill. In their words, it would “…imposing further burdens on law-abiding gun owners.”

Gun reform minded citizens should oppose this bill.
