New Hampshire: Bills to Add background checks and a waiting period to be heard on Wednesday (2/13)

Am I Next

Two bills to expand background checks to include gun shows and require a seven day waiting period for gun purchase will both be voted on this Wednesday, Feb 13. The New Hampshire State House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee will take testimony and vote on these two bills. The NRA told their members to call the committee members.

These are two gun sensible bills. We suggest this is a perfect time to make your voice heard. All concerned citizens should call the committee and advocate in favor of these bills.

The Bills

👍House Bill 109-FN would require gun transfers at a gun show to go through a background check. Currently, using this loophole, those who are not allowed to buy a gun at a store, can do so at a gun show.
