Nevada: Repeal of Preemption before committee

safe for guns

The NRA has alerted their members to oppose this repeal preemption bill which is before the Assembly Judiciary Committee. Preemption has prevented Nevada communities from deciding to make their own gun ordinances. For example, they are not allowed to restrict loaded guns from parks or civic meetings. Also with the committee is the safe storage bill. These gun safety bills should be supported by concerned citizens. SB 439 should be opposed.

The Bills

👍 Assembly Bill 291 would repeal the preemption laws in Nevada. This would allow local the freedom to make their own gun ordinances. Also included in this bill is the outlawing of trigger modifications or bump stocks.
