Montana: Preemption bill goes to Governors desk

Well Regulated sign

Preemption laws in Montana prevent local communities from making their own gun ordinances. Some communities still managed to make their own gun restrictions and the NRA is clamping down on this freedom. They have two bills would strengthen the clamp on local control. They passed the State House and Senate and move on to Governor Bullock’s signature.

The Bill

👎 House Bills 325 and 357 would further prevent local communities from making gun ordinances.
