Indiana: The dangerous “stand-your-ground” bill is nearing passage

The NRA’s ‘stand-your-ground’ bill would allow racists to provoke another person, shot them and then claim self-defense. It would also allow trigger happy gunners to shoot first and ask questions later. The bill passed the Senate and the House. Now, a conference committee is resolving a few differences before the Governor signs it into law.

 The Bill

👎House Bill 1284 and Senate Bill 119 would allow a defendant to claim justified use of force in their defense of shooting someone.
