Connecticut Info: A success for gun safety

Am I Next

Great news for gun safety in Connecticut. Two safe storage bills and a ban on ghost guns passed the legislature yesterday (5/23). The three bills now move to Governor Lamont’s desk. He supports all three bills.

The Bills

👍 House Bill 7218 would require lockup all guns whenever there is a minor present.

👍 House Bill 7223 would require handguns left in a car be in a locked safe.

👍 House Bill 7219 would outlaw homemade guns, selling or giving away guns with no serial number, and requiring some detectable metal be added to plastic guns.
