California: Three new gun sense bills are currently in committee

Tuesday, March 12, the Assembly Public Safety Committee while hear three bills that would regulate guns better. The NRA calls these bills “anti-gun.” Of course, to them any gun safety bill is an anti-gun bill. They’ve asked their members to attend the meeting on short notice. Many gun nuts will attend and many more will contact their legislators.

We can’t let the gun nuts prevent gun safety. We can offset this barrage of calls to legislators with our own barrage. Now is the time because bills can move quickly from committee to the Assembly floor. Please contact your Assembly member and request support of these bills.

👍Assembly Bill 12 would extend “gun violence” restraining orders from one year to five years.
