Alabama: Hearing on a permanent license Wednesday (5/15)

Guns on Table

The NRA doesn’t advocate for gun safety. Evidence is indicated by this NRA bill. It would ease the slight burden of gun owners needing to periodically apply for renewal of their gun carry license. Since each periodic renewal requires a background check, eliminating this step decreases gun safety in Alabama. The Alabama House Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee will hear the bill on Wednesday (5/15).

The Bill

👎 House Bill 595 would create a new lifetime gun carry permit.
